Roebling Collective is a real estate brand in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati that agents market under while keeping their own name, their own database, and every lead they generate. It is operated by The Caldwell Group and brokered by eXp Realty.
Derek Caldwell now runs two businesses under the same roof, built for two different kinds of agent. The Caldwell Group is a full service team: it supplies the leads, the marketing, the signage, the print, the transaction management and the listing management, and the commission split is what pays for all of it. Agents stay, several of them eight years and counting, closing thirty or more homes a year. It continues to operate and to recruit.
Roebling Collective is the opposite structure for the opposite agent. Producing agents kept approaching Caldwell who already generated their own business and had spent years building a name they had no intention of retiring. A team is not designed for that agent, and joining one would have meant putting somebody else’s name above theirs.
The collective publishes its entire cost structure on its own homepage, which is unusual in agent recruiting: a $16,000 annual cap with the collective on top of a $4,000 cap with eXp Realty, and then the agent is at one hundred percent. It also publishes a calculator that compares those economics against whatever an agent currently pays, and recommends staying put when the math says so.
